This website covers backpacking tips for beginners, but even a veteran might learn a thing or two.

My goal is to help you get the most out of your adventure(s) by sharing my knowledge and personal experience from my journeys in
Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, The Philippines and India.

So, I've created a website for you containing backpacking tips, basically things you should know about to keep you safe and happy!

I only recommend places that I think it's worth recommending!

I don't write about anything I don't think it's worth writing about.

I don't sugar-coat the reviews, and if I like/dislike something -- you will notice it!

I've tried my best to focus on backpacker places, and not
110 % tourist places like Phuket or Pattaya in Thailand.

But I have written about touristy places like Siem Reap in Cambodia, and Chiang Mai in Thailand, but that's because these are still places you have to visit!

When it comes to the real world, I've taken the liberty to comment taboo issues like prostitution, genocide etc.

That's because I think it's important to talk about these things, and because the real goal of a backpacker is not to only experience the good stuff, but try to understand why these kind of bad things happen.

To make the best of your adventures in Asia, try to understand the reality in Asia's dark history.

It will change you in ways you've never felt before...

And I`m going to show you how beautiul and exciting Asia is.

... Not to mention, cheap.

You`ll be reading about my favorite places like Luang Prabang,
Chiang Mai, Phi Phi, Kuala Lumpur and much more!

On the other hand, when you're backpacking in Asia you have to expect to face both small and big challenges, from practical to almost dangerous situations.

And believe me, I messed up a lot of times... But I learned from my mistakes. I`ve experienced most of the common backpacking problems/dangers: anything from packing too much to moped accidents...!

So, be prepared, use common sense & follow your gut feeling!
