Need suggestions for travel routes in Cambodia?

Then you've come to the right place!

From Laos:

Enter Northeast Cambodia from Southern Laos, and continue to Thailand (Koh Chang).

This route is ideal for travelers who want to explore as much possible of Cambodia.

Starting in Northeastern Cambodia:

Time: 30 days

Stung Treng (stopover) Kratie Kampong Cham
Siem Reap
Battambang
Phnom Penh Kampot (stopover to Rabbit Island)
Kep (Rabbit Island) Back to Kampot (stopover) Sihanoukville

Hat Lek/Koh Kong border crossing (Cambodia/Thailand)
Ko Chang island in Thailand

From Stung Treng, you can make your way to the Eastern jungle in Ban Lung. From Ban Lung you can continue south to Sen Monorom. To get to Phnom Penh or Kratie from Sen Monorom, you have to make a stop-over in Snoul.

I recommend to spend a couple of days in Kampot. This place is just awesome, with gorgeous countryside and you have access to Bokor National Park.

If you're coming from Southern Laos and heading for Thailand (Bangkok), travel via Northeastern Cambodia:

Time: 10 days

Stung Treng (stopover) Phnom Penh Siem Reap Battambang
Poipet/Aranya Prathet border Bangkok

If you're heading for Vietnam, there are several bus departures to Saigon from Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville. Ths bus stops at the border crossing of Moc Bai.

If you're already in the south, you can cross near Kep at Ha Tien crossing. This crossing is ideal if you want to visit Phu Quoc island in Vietnam. From here, it's also easy access to Mekong Delta, and then onto Saigon.
