Koh Phangan
Parties

Koh Phangan Parties can be found everywhere on Koh Phangan -- EVERY night!

It`s the island where backpackers from all around the world come together to be part of the excellent music, drink Thai buckets till they can`t take it anymore and flirt with beautiful people!

I will first start with the secluded Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach on Eastern Koh Phangan.

The travelers here are a mix of young horny backpackers, couples and hippies!

There were only a few bars here when I visited the place back in Nov 2007.

Here are some of your options!

Nu Bar

Nu Bar is run by Dutch Andy.

The place is cool with earthly colored interior, scary wooden masks hanging on the wall, pool table and a small dance floor.

It`s a good place to start your evening and to end your evening! Drink nicely mixed cocktails or just grab a Singha beer.

I recently heard that you can get yoga classes here..

Chaya Bar

Many backpackers go to Chaya Bar for late drinks and lazy nights. Cool and relaxed atmosphere.

Game Bar

If you want to relax in a comfortable sitting area and have some drinks, go to Game Bar.

This is usually where people end up after partying all night.

Partying on Thong Nai Pan Noi beach

The neighbouring beach of Thong Nai Pan Yai is known for the wild atmosphere at their bars. These bars are scattered along the beach.

One of them is Ban Pha Bar. It`s an outdoor bar where many backpackers gather together to drink loads of buckets and Singhas, flirt or exchange stories. There`s definitely a party (horny) atmosphere here, even during daytime.
