Follow an elephant trek through the neighboring jungle, past bamboo trees and hanging creepers, upwards toward a remote Lisu hilltribe village.

The Lisu hilltribe people originated in Tibet and their villages are usually located in the mountains around 3280 feet. Local lunch is provided.

After lunch, you will enjoy a river rafting adventure down the Ping River.

On return to Chiang Mai, the journey continues by road to an Orchid Farm at Mae Sa. There is time to stroll around this scenic area where a picturesque forest waterfall can also be found.

This half-day tour takes you up into the mountains of the Doi Suthep Pui National Park.

A drive takes you up the slopes of Doi Suthep Peak to visit the most sacred temple in the north, Wat Phra Thad Doi Suthep, containing a holy relic of Lord Buddha. On a clear day the panoramic views of the city from the temple ground are truly spectacular!

Located a further 18 Kilometers from Wat Doi Suthep into the mountains of Doi Suthep Pui National Park, is a White Meo Hilltribe, a relatively unspoiled hilltribe village where you can see their simple way of life.

Chiang Rai and Golden Triangle Tour -- 1 Day

This is a chance for you to visit the famous Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Burma and Laos meet!

The day starts with an early morning drive through beautiful scenery, with a stop at the Hot Springs at Maekajan.

For a small fee, you can also enjoy the boat ride to view the splendor of mighty Mae Khong River.

Continue on to Mae Sai, the farther-most northern trading border between Thailand and Burma, where local lunch is provided. On the return journey stops are made at Akha and Yao hilltribe villages.

Chiang Mai City and Temples Half-Day Tour

Visit the impressive temples of Chiang Mai including the 600-year old Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep.

After a drive up the mountain's winding road, the final climb to the site is via an enormous mythological Nagas (Dragon-headed serpent) staircase of 306 steps. The reward is amazing views of Chiang Mai from the summit of Doi Suthep.
