If you're new to backpacking, trying to find good online travel resources is sometimes like looking for a needle in a haystack! If you ask me, many websites don't deserve to be on the internet!

So what do I mean by "good" online travel resources?

I mean content -- with high value information. Who doesn't appreciate real and personal information -- sprinkled with passion!

The goal with this page is to direct you to other travel related topics with high value information. The list of online resources in this article will continue to grow! When I stumble upon a great travel website, I will put it on the list.

Useful Travel Forums

Travelfish: Travelfish has a forum for discussing travel to Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. When I traveled in Asia, I used Travelfish.org a lot because backpackers have asked every question that is possible to ask about... You can either look it up, or ask for help!

IndiaMike: India travel discussion forum for advice, sharing photos, chatting, and tips for those traveling to or within India.

This is probably the only excellent forum on India that I know about. IndiaMike has pretty much the answers to anything about India: from how the beds on a train to Delhi look like to border crossings. It's just amazing how much this guy knows about India!
