"Where to party in capital of Cambodia -- Phnom Penh"

So, you`re here to know more about the Phnom Penh Nightlife?

The nightlife in Phnom Penh is divided into Asian and Western bars and clubbing. And you have many choices in music: techno, trance, cheesy disco, rock, jazz, salsa and much more!

Most of them resembles hostess bars, and many of them ARE hostess bars. A hostess bar employs most of the time women, so they can cater the male guests with drinks and attentive conversations...

Partying in Boeng Kak

Drunken Frog

A popular let`s-go-and-get-wasted kind of place. Crazy people and cheap beers equals wild atmosphere.

Magic Sponge

Magic Sponge is all about the entertainment...poker nights, darts, playstation, sports matches + cheap drinks -- every guy`s dream! And before I forget -- board games like chess, Scrabble and Monopoly. Best of all, they have a pool table.

The beers cost 1 US -- Anchor, Beer Laos and Klang. If you have the guts to try the Mekong whisky -- it cost 1 US. Cocktails range from 2-3 US dollars and the famous buckets can be your for 5 bucks.

Pink Elephant

The Backpacker`s hang-out in Phnom Penh:

Cheap drinks, free pool and a relaxed atmosphere! Can it get any better..

Pontoon

-- at the Western end of Street 108

Pontoon floats on the Tonle Sap river. Dance to house or electrotech at this floating bar/restaurant and enjoy the Happy Hours between 5 pm - 8 pm.

A mix of locals and tourists can be found bouncing and drinking here. And the gay community might have some interesting Thursday nights.
